How To Claim 3rd Party Insurance?

Last year, I've been hit from back by a white car on the way back home. I'm consider lucky to be alive. But my bike have to be 'warded' at Dragon Garage. So I've decide to fix the bike first then claim to the insurance. The first thing you should do is:

1. Report your accident to police
2. Get full report from police
Make sure the report include:-
i. Your report copy
ii. Another report copy by the guy/gal who hit you
iii. Accident Picture copy
iv. Accident Case Results (after 2 weeks process)
3. Get an adjuster to evaluate your bike damages.
(Make sure get a panel adjuster if not, you will be entertain like shit)
4. Wait the adjuster to submit report then you can start fixing your bike again at anywhere workshop you like to appoint.
4. You also can claim for 'lost of use' starting the day you've been accident.

The last thing is to get a payment from the insurance. I'll update soon when I received the payment. A friend of mine said, normally if you do 3rd party claim it takes 6 to 12 month! Holly cow. Let's see if can get early settlement. :)

1 comment:

  1. You can also claim with these steps In first step quantify your loss. second document your loss third step Raise a claim with the other vehicle's owner and keep his insurer in the loop and the last step is to File a case in the motor accident claim tribunal.

    Thanks
