Miracle after 6,400 km



























TOKYO - Japanese media reported that a Harley-Davidson motorcycle that lost during the tsunami struck northeastern Japan on March 11 last year was found in Graham Island, Canada on 18 April after being washed away as far as 6.400 kilometers (km). The bike was found by Peter Mark in a white container where it is stored by the owner, Ikuo Yokoyama.

Japanese television stations, Fuji TV reported yesterday that the owners of the motorcycles, detected by the vehicle plate number.

"No doubt, that's my bike. It's a miracle," said Yokoyama to Nippon TV television station when he saw the motorcycle picture. Yokoyama lost three members of the family in the tsunami tragedy. He now lives in a temporary housing area for the victims of the tsunami survivors in Miyagi prefecture. Mark said, he is hard to believe that the bike would be swept across the Pacific Ocean. - AGENCY
